I’m simply smitten with this word. Independent. And who wouldn’t be, with words like "free" and "competent" in its definition. And it’s not just the word that I’m smitten with, it’s everything that comes along with it. Independent music, independent restaurants, and independent thinkers. So it goes without saying, I love Independent film. These are the truly creative thinkers. These are the actors, writers, and directors who did not compromise to make a buck, but who did movies because, get this, they actually liked the movie! This means more passionate acting for us, better movies, etcetera. Due to their small budgets, it’s difficult for these movies to be marketed and even more difficult for us to find them.
Well HTC has solved both problems! The Independent Film Channel, in our Passport package, is your resource for all of these great movies that you may have otherwise missed. For example, coming up this month, the Oscar Winning Adrien Brody stars in The Pianist in its debut to IFC.
IFC has too much coming up to list here, so check out their website , then give us a call and tell us you want to become Independent!
