March 20 , 2008 - Going Green. Most of us at least have an idea of what this saying means. If you do not, grab your latest magazine. Any magazine. From the car magazine people, the vacation magazine people, right on down to the fashion magazine, everyone is talking about “going green.” So what the heck am I talking about? Well, going green simply put means changing your lifestyle to be more suitable for the environment. Changing fuel types, electricity types, and so on. Because of this gigantic movement, I tried to find a tv show for you that would be more interesting than most “green” movies or tv shows, which have as much entertainment as a pet rock circa 1980. The team at HGTV not only builds, but also gives away a home that is completely eco-friendly. Sounds like “Extreme Home Makeover” gone green.

Needless to say, I’m really excited about this show and hope you will tune in. Oh yeah, and HTC has this channel in Hi def! Another great reason to watch!
