March 12 , 2008 - About this time of year, I start to realize that my long-standing New Years resolution to lose weight and get fit has not quite, well, taken off per say. I am willing to bet a fair amount of money that I may not be alone in this. Around March, everyone starts to wish they had stuck to that resolution. When the jackets come off, a light bulb comes on, and here comes the inevitable thought: “I’m really going to have to get into a swimsuit in a few months.” Of course this thought has already entered my mind.
So as I sat in bed last night eating ice cream, (Don’t judge me), I saw a commercial for a new TV series. It’s called “I Can Make You Thin,” hosted by Paul Mckenna. The commercial didn’t say a whole lot, so I got online and found this guy, made famous for hypnosis in the UK, uses neuro-linguistic programming, which is a fancy term for, tricking your mind into thinking you are not hungry. Crazy, huh?
The show premiers the 16th of this month on TLC, just enough time to get your swimsuit bod.
And speaking of diets, or the lack thereof, Top Chef premiers tonight!! I know I probably should not include these two shows in the same blog but, I guess watching people cook and eat has never hurt anyone. And don’t forget HTC now has Bravo in HD, and trust me, food has never looked so good!
