March 5 , 2008 -There is something to be said about going against the grain. My generation, and from what I hear about the 70’s, the generation before me, has made a lifestyle of not following the norm. We may be of the first who have been given the opportunity to choose clothing, food, music, hobbies, beliefs, and even careers, passionately, and not out of mere necessity. Whether you knowingly chose it or not, you are a rebel. So Quit Your Job!

Okay, not literally.

“Quit Your Job!” is actually a TV special that I have recently stumbled upon on the Fine Living Channel. It showcases 4 or 5 different people who have essentially quit their jobs to pursue their true passions. From theatre owners and restaurateurs, to mannequin designers, these creative minds will encourage you to seek your true passions. Or at least live vicariously through them!
This will be an unlikely break from my “profound” TV schedule, so trust me, it would behoove you to watch it.

This special will air March 16 at 1:00pm and only at this time, so DVR it. You know the drill.
